Swedish Research Links Programme 2014 will open its call on February 2014 for collaborative research application.


Details of the grant are as follows:


  • The maximum amount is SEK 250 000/year for three years, i.e. a maximum total SEK 750 000 (for 3 years), to be divided between the collaborating parties.
  • The Swedish Research Council requires that a final financial report be submitted for every grant.
  • The grant cover extra costs of international research cooperation: travel and accommodation for mutual visits within the scope of the collaboration; joint workshops and seminars, and publication of jointly written articles and books.
  • The funding for minor items of equipment and materials (maximum 50,000 SEK per year).
  • Salary costs and fellowships are not funded.

  2. Medicine and health
  3. Educational sciences
  4. Natural and engineering sciences
  5. Artistic research
  6. Development Research



Eligibility



  1. Applications are made jointly by researchers in Sweden and researchers in the program countries.
  2. The applicants must be postdoctoral researchers associated with universities, or other higher education or research institutions.
  3. One of the applicants must be affiliated to a university in Sweden.
  4. The applicants must be citizens or have permanent residence in an eligible country.
  5. If more than one program country outside Sweden is involved, each must be represented by a principal researcher.
  6. Project leaders of grants financed by the Swedish Research Council must be employed by the administrating organisation during the grant period.



How to Apply

The call for proposals of 2014 will open between February and  April 2. All the details regarding 2014 announcements are not yet clear but the information will be updated regularly in the website.


Note: Researchers wishing to apply to the Swedish Research Links program must themselves establish contact with researchers in Sweden.
