The Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) is proud to organize the 4th International Conference on Intelligent & Advanced Systems (ICIAS2012). This conference is the continuation of ICIAS2010 which was successfully held at the same venue. The theme of ICIAS2012 is "Emerging Technologies for Sustainable Solutions". The conference is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Malaysia Signal Processing Society and the IEEE Malaysia Circuits & Systems Society.


The conference which is listed in IEEE website aims at bringing together experts and researchers in intelligent and advanced systems. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit original and unpublished work in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Sensor Technology
  • Nonlinear Circuits & Systems
  • Signal Processing
  • Instrumentation & Control Systems
  • Communications Systems
  • Image Processing & Multimedia Systems
  • VLSI & Embedded Systems
  • Biomedical Systems
  • Power Electronics & Power Systems
  • Computational & Artificial Intelligence


All accepted papers which are presented at the conference will be archived in IEEE Xplore database and indexed in SCOPUS. Authors of selected papers will be invited to send the extended versions of their work to be published in journals which are ISI and/or SCOPUS indexed.
