KLCC acronym can be a little bit confusing as it can mean either "Kuala Lumpur City Centre" or "Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre." Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is part of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre famous for the PETRONAS Twin Towers.

The Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) located in Sepang is about 45 km south of Kuala Lumpur City Centre/Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). There are various ways to get from KLIA to KLCC and vice versa. It takes about one (1) hour by taxi (plus or minus depending on traffic), around one (1) hour fifteen (15) minutes by bus, and twenty eight (28) minutes by KLIA Express Train (KLIA - KL Sentral route).

The popular KLIA Express train takes you to KL Sentral (Kuala Lumpur central train station). However, once you arrive at KL Sentral, you have to walk to the taxi counter and get a (fixed price) taxi to KLCC. Travelers may find this to be a hassle, and opt for more direct solutions; the airport taxi from KLIA to KLCC.

The Airport Limo is a taxi service that operates from KLIA at the "Arrival Level." The reasonably big sign of Airport Limo/Taxi counter is easily recognizable, right after you pass through the immigration and custom check points. It is advisable that you buy your taxi ticket directly at the Airport Limo Ticket Counters upon arrival. Check out their complete list with rates at the official Airport Limo website - take a look at Rates (Rate from KLIA), Zone 502 (Kuala Lumpur City) for the fare approximation.

Another service (not operating at KLIA, but available upon request - via e-mails or phone calls)  is offered by KL Shuttles which provides airport transfers and tour services to selected places in Malaysia.
